Art holds a deeply personal place within the Lady Elizabeth Kelly Family Office. Through Lady Elizabeth Kelly Atelier, original works are created with a particular affection for traditional painting, classical beauty and the enduring character of oil on canvas.
Lady Elizabeth Kelly is a self-taught artist whose philosophy towards art is refreshingly simple: a painting should please the eye, stir something within you and possess the craftsmanship to be appreciated for years to come.
Her work is predominantly created in oil on canvas, drawing inspiration from traditional and classical art while retaining an individual contemporary expression. Wildlife, portraiture, spirituality and symbolism feature throughout her work, often accompanied by the atmospheric, time-worn quality she describes as an “antique soul.”
The Atelier does not seek to follow passing trends. Lady Elizabeth believes that the age, movement or fashion surrounding a work matters considerably less than the work itself. There should be evidence of imagination, patience and the artist’s hand — something that makes a person stop, look again and, quite simply, want to live with it.
Original Works
Original paintings are created through Lady Elizabeth Kelly Atelier, with many works produced for private collectors and traditionally presented in private settings.
Each canvas is approached as an individual work rather than part of a volume-led production. Oil is built gradually through layers of colour, texture, light and shadow, allowing each painting to develop its own character and presence.
The result is art intended not merely to decorate a room, but to become part of it — something capable of remaining in a home for decades and, perhaps, passing from one generation to another.
Having remained largely within the private sphere, the Atelier is also beginning to introduce selected works to a wider audience. One of Lady Elizabeth’s original paintings is expected to be presented publicly in Dubai, offering an opportunity to experience the work beyond a private setting.
Prints & Framed Editions
While original oils remain at the heart of the Atelier, Lady Elizabeth also believes that enjoying art should not depend upon acquiring an original canvas.
Selected works are therefore available in printed and framed editions, making the imagery accessible to a wider audience while the original paintings remain individually created pieces.

Lady Elizabeth’s ambition is not simply to produce paintings, but gradually to establish a body of work recognised for its traditional character, emotional quality and unmistakable antique soul.
